Many different wicks, waxes, temperatures and oils have been tested to determine the best possible combination of all factors to produce the "best" candle. The maximum oil load is used that the specific candle wax weight can hold (to give off the highest scent throw) and the appropriate size wick along with a wick setter are used to be sure the wicks are placed center in each container to ensure maximum burn time, as little soot as possible and no tunneling (if maintained properly).
